The Balule Private Nature Reserve was created 12 years ago when a few enterprising farm owners decided to drop the game fences between their farms. This has since grown into a 35,000 hectare private nature reserve with the perennial Olifants River flowing for approximately 20 km through the centre of the reserve. Balule Private Reserve is expanding all the time, as other landowners join the initiative to become incorporated into the Greater Kruger National Park Management Area. This vast Nature Reserve is home to the 'Big Five' and is world-famous for its abundance of animals and bird-life. Ezulwini Game Lodges are situated in the Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park, which is approximately 17 kilometres from Hoedspruit, making it easily accessible from both Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa. It is approximately 5 hours' drive from Johannesburg. Balule Nature Reserve is situated in a low malaria area, and there has been no reported cases of malaria in the last 10 years.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 90 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 60 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children from 6 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: 14 % VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Internet via modem is available in the business centre and costs ZAR 120.00 per hour.

Meal Plan: Full board is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free private parking is possible on site.
